Hubby and I were eating some recently with a mild cheese spread and I noticed that the cracker is just bland. Used to be very savory tasting, buttery and cheesy but now they are just blah.
Slogan of "everything tastes good on a Ritz" no longer holds true. Yuck. Why do companies change the recipe for well-established foods? Do the young people who run these companies just not have any history with the product or appreciate those of us who do?
I remember the fiasco with Bisquick.
They were forced to go back to the original recipe (oh, how horrible for corporate america!) because people were dropping like flies and couldn't make their family recipes. Nabisco - WAKE UP
Reason of review: changed recipe.
Preferred solution: go back to the original recipe and original quality ingredients - if you want cheap ingredients or to change the ingredients, then come out with another cracker - don't mess this original Ritz.
